Who is your character closest to, among his/her immediate family? She loves her mother dearly.
What type of a neighbor did your character grow up in? Lives in now? Ahim still lives in her family home, a nice house in a slightly upscale neighborhood. Her mother runs the Japanese branch of a major conglomerate, in which she is a major shareholder, and they are wealthy, but Mariko didn't want to spoil Ahim too much. The neighborhood is nice, quiet, filled with a number of foreigners and other Japanese people who work for foreign companies.
Pets: None! Neither she nor her mother are around enough to justify having a pet, even fish.

On a Saturday night what would your character be found doing? Or, if given a stretch of free time unexpectedly, what would they be doing? Ahim has far too much going on to actually have a ton of free time. she has to keep up her studies, deal with everything that comes across her desk as student body president, cello practice. If she does have free time, she'll end up making a pot of tea and reading or sitting outside, enjoying the peace. Saturday night's are given to studying, but if she does have free time (or friends bug her) she will end up hanging out with her close friends (namely, Luka).
How does your character deal with boredom?: On the rare chance she gets bored, Ahim will make a cup of tea and try to get into a better frame of mind before going on to something else.
