Joe is so adorable sometimes. She can't resist teasing him, just a little.]

Of course I do! It was an important event for me.

[It was something, honestly. Really something. But, oh God, doesn't Ahim know how to bake a cake? That's how you thank people! Silently! Not with these sweet smiles, and words, and delicate prettiness as if there isn't steel under there.]

[Unfortunately, Ahim's cooking skills are limited to heating water and pouring tea. She won't say no to baking lessons, however. But until then - Joe will just have to deal with smiles and words.]
